Logline: In 1960’s Birmingham – the industrial heart of England – ambitious working class girl Maggie Goodwin strives to make a name for herself in the new and innovative world of computer programming. But her social status, gender and disreputable Black Country family mean she’s got her work cut out for her in a world where men are in charge and women are just Punch Card Girls.
Bio: Emily is a British writer from the Black Country who moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a television writer. She has recently completed the UCLA Extension TV Writing Certificate with distinction, and was nominated by the UCLA Writing Department as “the best, brightest, most dynamic and interesting participant in the certificate program”, leading to her representing the certificate in their Public Relations work.
