Logline: The story of Robert Davis, an African-American police officer who escaped capture from his involvement with a corrupt police force, and survived on the run in the wilderness for over 22 years, ultimately finding faith and redemption.

Bio: Mark Daniels is a member of UCLA’s screenwriting program, and was introduced to Robert Davis when his book, Running Scared went into publication. He had a wonderful experience collaborating with Mr. Davis, adapting his dramatic life into a screenplay. Outside of writing numerous screenplays in several genres, Mark has been teaching communications courses at Corbin High School in Kentucky, one which includes screenwriting
